Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great experience with Mendieta AC Services, who swapped our old gas furnace for a heat pump/air handler. Their team was incredibly friendly, approachable and flexible. There were lots of moving parts with our install related to other contractors and renovations going on, but Mendieta was very accommodating and made it work. Their price was very competitive, and they worked hard to earn our business when we were deciding between two companies. We were also dealing with the sudden change to the provincial rebate program, and Mendieta quickly provided the rebate program with all the extra documentation needed, as well as ensured a speedy install so we would get our rebate before the deadline. The install itself was clean and when a certain part didn't fit, they came back the next day with a custom fabricated piece. We did have an issue with the AC the week after install but one of their techs came out and got it fixed for us- we've had no issues since then and are loving our cool home during the summer heat!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience with Mendieta.

Sunith came and diagnosed the issue with my heat pump and later was provided with a quote.

After approved, Sunith can and performed the work to address the faulty installation of a precious HVAC company.

All in all it was a great experience with Mendieta.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a heatpump with 4 heads installed by Mendieta and they gave us amazing service from start to finish! Our house was trickier than expected and they ended up taking 4 full days. The technicians and owner were very friendly and always on time every morning they worked on our house, there were sometimes 5 people working at once. Very hard working team and professional. The ac is cold, quiet, looks good and we’re super happy! The price is affordable compared to other companies we got quotes from. Would recommend them to anyone to install a heatpump. Thanks again 😃

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are very grateful to the Mendieta team for their excellent work with our AC install. Ours was a big job, with 6 min-splits installed into a complicated space. We were very impressed with the solutions-oriented approach Freddy and his team took when encountering the unexpected challenges that arose with our install, problem-solving and offering the best options to ensure we were satisfied. They are all very professional and genuinely kind individuals, and it was a pleasure to have them work in our home.

I highly recommend Mendieta Air Conditioning.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a very complicated commercial refrigeration issue at our Freshslice Pizza location, and the team at Mandieta Air Conditioning Services did an outstanding job from start to finish.

They responded quickly, took the time to properly diagnose the problem, and didn't just offer a temporary fix—they identified the root cause and resolved it professionally. Their knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, attention to detail, and commitment to getting everything working correctly were truly impressive.

Throughout the process, they kept us informed, were honest about the work required, and ensured minimal disruption to our business. It's not easy finding a contractor you can trust, but Mandieta ACS has definitely earned ours.

I highly recommend Mandieta Air Conditioning Services to any business looking for reliable, knowledgeable, and professional HVAC and refrigeration experts. Thank you for helping us get back up and running!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This company has friendly hard working people who took the time and effort to take us on when we were left in a jam with our original AC installer and given incorrect maintenance info. Everyone from the Admin staff (Gabriella) to our friendly hard working technician (Sunith) and even the Owner took time to phone personally when I had questions. They worked hard to accommodate schedules and questions about maintenance packages. Sunith took the time to show us what he was working on and unfortunately had to contend with a bigger than normal job due to our original installer's negligence. They are on Lennox's recommended service provider list on their website.

Common Furnace Problems

Furnaces can develop different problems over time that affect heating performance, comfort, and energy use. Our technicians can identify the issue and provide the appropriate repair.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my furnace needs to be repaired?

Common signs include a furnace that is not producing enough heat, unusual noises, frequent on-and-off cycling, weak airflow, or a sudden increase in energy bills. If the problem keeps coming back or the furnace stops working altogether, it is best to have it inspected by a professional. Mendieta ACS can diagnose the issue and recommend the appropriate repair.

How often should I have my furnace serviced?

Regular furnace servicing helps identify worn or faulty components before they lead to a larger problem. It also gives a technician the opportunity to check the system, clean key components, and make sure the furnace is operating properly. The right service schedule can depend on the age, condition, and use of your furnace.

Should I repair my furnace or replace it?

It depends on the condition of the furnace and the problem it is experiencing. A repair may be the practical choice when the issue is limited to a faulty component. If the furnace is older, requires repeated repairs, or is no longer providing the heating performance you need, replacement may be worth considering. Mendieta ACS can inspect your existing system and explain the available options.

What type of furnace is right for my home or business?

The right furnace depends on factors such as the size of the property, existing heating setup, available fuel source, heating requirements, and budget. Mendieta ACS installs gas, electric, and oil furnaces and can help you choose a system that suits your property and heating needs.

Why is my furnace turning on and off so often?

Frequent cycling can be caused by several issues, including a thermostat problem, restricted airflow, or another problem affecting the furnace’s operation. It should not be ignored, especially if the furnace is struggling to maintain a comfortable temperature. A professional inspection can help identify the cause and determine whether a repair is needed.

Why is my furnace making unusual noises?

Rattling, banging, humming, or other unusual sounds can indicate that something inside the furnace needs attention. The cause can range from a loose component to a mechanical or electrical issue. Rather than ignoring a new or worsening noise, it is better to have the furnace checked so the problem can be identified before it becomes more serious.
