HVAC Rebate Questions

Do I need to apply before the installation?

It depends on the program. The Energy Savings Program and BC Hydro’s condo and apartment rebate need pre-registration or pre-approval before any work starts. Other rebates are applied for after the installation. We check this before we book your install.

No. Each program sets its own rules and funding and makes the final decision. We help you meet the requirements so your application is complete.
Some programs accept renters. The Energy Savings Program accepts renters with a landlord consent form. BC Hydro’s condo and apartment rebate doesn’t currently accept renters.
Sometimes. Some programs pay a bonus when you complete more than one upgrade, and others allow only one rebate per heating system. We’ll tell you what applies to your project.
